Telepalooza 2023

Telepalooza is a two day festival celebrating Telemark Skiing and everything about the “turn”. Two full days of Telemark instruction, races, parties, auctions and prizes. This year the festival will be hosting BOTH PSIA National Telemark Demo Team members, Jim Shaw of Winter Park Colorado and Keith Rodney of Mount Snow Vermont, as well as several PSIA East Telemark Examiners. This year will be the 16th Telepalooza and the 21st annual telemark festival at Seven Springs!

COST
Single Day – Members: $90 – Non-members: $100
Both Days – Members: $135 – Non-members: $150
Price includes clinics, uphill/downhill race, apres-ski food and soft drinks. There will be a cash bar for adult beverages.
All proceeds of the event go towards ATA’s loaner equipment program and the ATA Jim Kapp Memorial Scholarship fund.

The event takes place at Seven Springs Mountain Resort on Saturday, January 7 and Sunday January 8 2023.

CHECK IN/REGISTRATION
Check in will take place Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the Maple Room, located on the main level of the ski lodge beside the cafeteria. Plan on being on snow at 9:00 AM each day. Day of registrations will be accepted but early registration is EXTREMELY helpful so we can plan food, instructors, etc. Click HERE for the registration form.

LOANER GEAR
ATA maintains a pool of loaner boots, skis, and bindings for any member to use free of charge. Gear is available first come first served so its recommended to reserve equipment early. Email us at info@telemarker.org to reserve gear. ATA has 8 new pairs of Scarpa TX Comp boots in various sizes and new 22 Designs OutlawX NTN bindings. These are mounted on various donated skis. In addition to our new NTN gear, ATA has a large collection of 75mm boots and equipped skis. If you need equipment, we ask that you join ATA for the season. Your membership will entitle you to the discounted Telepalooza price. Seasonal membership is $40 for an individual, $50 for a family. Click HERE for the membership form.

CLINICS/LESSONS
There will be clinics available for all skill levels. You choose the group you want to ski with. You are free to change groups any time. Clinics will run from approximately 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM each day.

UPHILL/DOWNHILL and NASTAR RACES
Details are still being determined for location and time for the uphill/downhill race. We hope to also include a run or two through the NASTAR course. Check back for details.

APRES-SKI PARTIES
Post skiing activities will take place in the Matterhorn Room which is on the third level of the main lodge. Turn left at the bottom of the staircase in the center lobby. Food, and soft drinks are included in your registration. There will be a cash bar. We have TONS of swag to give away and auction. Please see our SPONSORS page. Festivities start at 5:00 PM Saturday and Sunday.
